I’m Liah, a Sheffield based artist

My journey revolves around drawing from life, connecting with my subject is important in my practice, sharing a moment and giving myself a space to create a spontaneous, immediate gesture or mark.

I move between mediums and techniques like free motion sewing, monotype print, pencil drawings and continuous lines. By experimenting with different materials, I aim to capture the diversity of human forms and faces.

Alongside my practice I founded Anomaly Life Drawing and Dog Life Drawing.
